This policy applies to cheerzvodka.com, operated for Cheerz Vodka by Northern Lights Distillery. It explains what personal information we collect, why, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

This website is intended only for people of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone who has not reached legal drinking age in their location.

2. Information we collect

At this stage, the primary information we collect is the email address you provide to be notified when Cheerz Vodka launches, along with your consent choice for that signup. If you contact us directly, we also collect whatever information you choose to include in that message.

Where analytics are enabled and you consent to them, we may collect device and browser type, approximate location, referral source, and pages viewed, to understand website performance. Essential technical logs (such as IP address) may be processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver and protect the website.

We use local storage or a cookie to remember your age-verification and cookie preferences so you are not asked repeatedly.

3. Why we use information

We use your email address solely to send you the launch-notification communications you signed up for. We will not use it for other marketing without separately asking. We use technical information to operate, secure, and improve the website.

Any marketing email will identify Northern Lights Distillery (operating Cheerz Vodka) as the sender and include a working way to unsubscribe. You may withdraw consent at any time by using that unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly.

Our launch-notification form uses Google reCAPTCHA to reduce automated and fraudulent submissions. Google’s processing of this information is governed by its own privacy policy and terms.

Where enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website performance. This tool does not load, and no analytics cookie is set, until you accept analytics cookies through our cookie banner. You may decline and continue using the website normally with no loss of functionality. Google Analytics does not receive your name, email address, or any other information you may submit through this website.

We share information only with service providers that help us host the website, process the launch-notification signup, deliver email, and — where you have consented to analytics cookies — measure website performance through Google Analytics. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Some service providers may process information outside Saskatchewan or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

6. Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to launch notifications, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of.
